General
UAF Guarantee >
Our products are guaranteed for life. We make everything by hand and although sometimes we do make mistakes, we stand behind our products. If there is ever an issue with workmanship, don’t hesitate to contact us customerservice@uafimaging.com.
Caring For your Album >
Please keep this album in a cool dry location. Keep album away from any food or liquid. Keep album away from direct sunlight. If you live in a humid area please stack something heavy on the album when you first receive it, so the cover and pages can get acclimated to the new environment (This will prevent pages from warping/Bending). Please, be sure to bring album in ASAP from shipping so the weather and natural environments do not cause damage to the album.
Turnaround Time >
Most of our products will ship within 2-4 weeks, most albums have a 10-16 business day turnaround. Please keep in mind if a mistake is made the turnaround time starts the date all items are received and completed (not the date the order is placed). Orders placed after 11am will be printed and started the following business day (Business days are Monday-Friday).
RUSH Services >
We offer RUSH services on our albums. For an additional fee, we will have your album out the door in 10 business days (RUSH fee is per album). If you would like to have your order made with RUSH services, please contact us at info@uafimaging.com
Sample Discounts >
UAF Photo Lab offers 50% discount on all sample products. All sample products must have the studio logo on the product. Upgrades are not discounted. Discount is applied to the base album price only. During the months of November and December, sample products will be put on hold until January due to the high order volume during that time of year.
- Some sample albums will be marked with a "For sample only logo on the back".
- Sample acrylic prints are 15% off and must have studio logo on the image. We do not offer samples on any other products. Clients (studios) are limited to 7 sample items each year. If your sutido has more needs than this pelase email us.
Sample Swatches>
UAF offers the ability to purchase mounted swatches in size 8x10 and 5x7. If you prefer a smaller swatch you can get our 2x3 swatch ring with all material for a small fee that covers the employee cost and shipping. You can view this charge in our current Pricing Guide found in our Client area. November and December sample swatches will be put on hold until January due to the high volume of orders during that time of year.
Online Orders >
All orders submitted online are FINAL. If you have any concerns with your order after confrimation, please contact orders@uafimaging.com.
Holiday Deadlines >
Our lab will make best efforts to announce the date of all holiday deadlines at least 15-30 days prior to the actual scheduled deadline. However, if you prefer to plan ahead you can use the following schedule: Valentine's Day: 3rd Friday in January December Holidays: the 1st Friday in November
Please keep in mind that all sample orders placed during our peak seasons will be put on hold until after the holiday occurs.
UAF Wholesale Policy for US Clients >
UAF Photo Lab offers items at a wholesale price to retailers (professional photographers). For this reason, we do not charge sales tax on our products sold (the reseller is required to charge the tax per their state tax limit) we are legally required to have an EIN/Business Tax ID or a reseller permit number on file. In every state in the US even if you have a sole prop., LLC or Inc.; a resellers permit (or EIN) is required. If the person is doing the following: selling a tangible item or personal property at a retail value (not a wholesale cost), providing a taxable service in their area/state. In some states selling digital products or property, selling any item that is taxable in most states they call this Business Tax ID, Resellers ID License/Permit, or State tax ID.
This will always be a different number from your personal social security number that you may use to file your personal taxes (or business tax if Sole Prop.). This sales tax ID number is only used to be able to charge tax on a product. This is the number we legally need to approve any US account with UAF Photo Lab because we do not charge tax on US products.

Boudoir and Nudity>
We celebrate the human body and as such we are happy to print any work that you as the professional photographer consider art. We legally keep our print standards to the laws in Toronto, Canada and we are not held liable to the legal standards of your state or country. You as an artist are responsible for abiding by your governing laws.
Website Display>
Our website images, swatches and Designs may slightly differ from the appearance of the final Product. UAF Photo Lab informs that despite all efforts it cannot ensure colour accuracy of the photographs presented on the website, because our display depends on numberous things such as the settings of the device display, browser, operating system, and the like.
Our Printers >
Our lab uses 2 different types of professional photographic printers.
- We use the Epson Inkjet P1000 this is designed for fine art and indoor display of images. It is one of the most widely used fine art printers in professional labs.
- We also use the Chromira ProLab Printer this is a professional wide format printer. This printer uses state of the art LED technology to create beautiful high quality prints. This printer offers silver halide prints upgrading your standard "Home" prints to professional quality.

How to Prepare Your Files >
• Keep file names under 18 characters • Use zero pad file names to avoid mixups • Avoid thin borders • Odd or custom sizes are priced by quote • Keep important parts of image 1/4” from edge • Images must be 300dpi sized as is • We are partnered with Fundy Designer + Pixellu Smart Albums
Design Software >
We recommend using Fundy Designer software to design your albums.

You can find our Album cover templates on our download page. Our template files are .psd files
Color Profile>
Please design all spreads on a calibrated monitor using the sRGB colorspace.
Image Sizing>
Images need to be sized according to the product ordered and should be 300 dpi
File Formats >

Shipping
Drop Ship To Client >
To drop ship an order directly to your client, simply change the shipping address in checkout. We do not include invoices or receipts in any shipments. Drop shipment costs follow the guidelines of our standard shipping for that drop shipped item.
Shipping Information >
Shipping is free to the US and Canada (excluding Alaska, Hawaii and Prince Edward Island) for orders $300 or more, orders less than $300 are subject to a $40 shipping charge. Shipments are made via UPS and usually take 2-3 business days door to door. During peak season there can be shipping disruptions due to holidays and weather related issues. Please check your local shipping carrier to be notified if there are any shipping related issues.
Shipping Outside of North America >
All shipping outside of North America will be sent via UPS. We will provide you with a tracking number. There will be an additional charge for every shipment outside of contential North America.
